A letter written by a stranger
So, yesterday evening at the Fly Up, Phones Down event, I met this interesting guy who wrote a short, beautiful text during the event. I would love to share with you what he wrote:
“Snapshot of silence
2 people are reading
3 people are writing
1 person is playing the mini-guitar
1 person is doing random stuff (Update: he sits in silence)
The atmosphere feels peaceful.
We sit in silence, but not alone.
There is a harmony in this silence.
Everyone is doing their own thing, but somehow we’re together.
I guess silence can be beautiful.
Even Melvin sits in silence.
I’m sitting at a café with 6 strangers I’ve met 1 hour ago, yet it’s peaceful & not awkward.”
